I am slightly ashamed to say that I agree about Hiro being better than cute in the swordfighting scene. Dude. If this show gets any hotter, it will, you know, spontaneously combust. Which I don't think I would appreciate very much.
LOL "spontaneously combust"! That IS appropriate since we're all set to have some explosions going on! HEYYOOOOOOOH. This show is hot- LITERALLY. Okay, no more puns.
I started BAWLING during the scene with Rory and Lane and didn't stop for the rest of the episode. It's just...YOU GUYS, you've been there for SO LONG. YOU CAN'T BE GONE IT MAKES NO SENSE! Ditto on the closing shot. Could not have been more perfect

I KNOW!! That was SO Luke, he spent like three straight days working non-stop doing something amazing for Lorelai, and then at the end he's like "eh, no biggie!" HEY LUKE DID YOU EVER KNOW THAT YOU'RE PERFECT?
Luke had to sit back and watch her in crappy relationships just knowing that he could make her happy if he had the chance. And he WANTED to make her happy.
WORD x100000000000. That is exactly what has always killed me about their relationship. He has always been there for her and she never really noticed and it's so sad and wonderful. And now they're together forever and it's HAPPY and perfect the end.
I loooooooooooved the little moment between Luke and Lorelai, when Lorelai says Luke's name in a tiiiiny tiiiiiny voice and Luke matches it up with "I just want to see you happy."
Melt.
I was pretty much satisfied with the whole episode. But at the same time, I wish it wasn't the finale yet.
I wish it wasn't the finale yet either, it's like... there's so much more to tell! But at least it went out on a high note, because those last few episodes were great. So bittersweet! :(
SEEEEEERIOUSLY. When i started getting teared up at the FIRST SHOT of the Dragonfly, i was like "oh man... this is gonna be rough." I mean, when happy/sad things happen, that's one thing, but when happy/sad things happen and the show is ending FOREVER, that is just a whole other bag of hammers. Or... something. GG has always been such a beacon of happy, funny, lighthearted goodness in my tv diet, i'm going to miss that so much. :(
