Untitled Gay Romance Steampunk story:
The first draft is almost finished. It needs a name, possibly one more scene, and a little bit more before the big showdown. I don't think I'll make it any longer, but it does need some re-writing. Tonight I Played Dress-Up
I couldn't get high quality pictures but here's some steampunk mix and match. I'm planning to work on accessories now, particularly some sort of hat or hairpiece, but at least I have the basics.

While the semester isn't over, it's kind of over for me--I turned in my first-year proposal (which it's possible no one will really read) and gave my department talk, which went really well (my advisor said it was excellent). I'm going to a conference in a few days, but that's the one in Florida, so it's like a vacation. A science vacation. The ( Read more... )
