Pence was in complete and utter awe at the sights and smells that were surrounding him. It was his first time out of Twilight Town in his entire life and he was trying to take in everything so that he'd remember this for the rest of his life. Now that he was bitten by the travel bug, he was going to make sure that he traveled more and that he took Namine with him! The two of them had been strolling along the market place until he had been distracted by a stand full of spices that he had never heard of and, of course, he had been more than happy to let the owner of the stand talk his ear off. He happily filled his bag with the various spices he had decided to try and never realized until he was done that he had managed to get a little bit of everything that had been offered and when he went to pay, he discovered that either things were very cheap here or that the stand owner had liked him even more than he thought! The brunett gave the owner a smile and a wave, promising to come back to visit later in his trip before looking around the ( ... )

She nearly shrieked with fright when she felt herself be lifted off the ground from behind. The last time something similar had happened she had been incarcerated and routinely raped by a gang of men. Just as he fight-or-flight instinct was about to flare up, the voice of her boyfriend reached her ears and provided her with some relief ( ... )

At the sound of Namine's squeak of fear, a shudder ran through Pence's body, mentally kicking himself for not realizing that she'd react that way. He knew what she'd been though, but it would just slip his mind and he would end up doing something insensitive that would have her upset while he desperately tried to apologize, just like he was doing now ( ... )
