At the sound of Namine's squeak of fear, a shudder ran through Pence's body, mentally kicking himself for not realizing that she'd react that way. He knew what she'd been though, but it would just slip his mind and he would end up doing something insensitive that would have her upset while he desperately tried to apologize, just like he was doing now.

"Namine, I'm sorry... I didn't mean to..." he trailed off at the words that were coming out of his girlfriends mouth, staring at her in shock for a few moments. "You saw...? He asked softly, trying to wrap his mind around what she was telling him. He knew from what she'd told him that her visions were usually pretty vague, but the fact that she had known about the fire hut just entirely too close to home.

"Why didn't you tell me? If you saw something happening at the restaurant why didn't you tell me? We could have stopped it, could have set up security so that it was watched and that guy would have never got close to it!" The young culinary student took a few deep breaths to calm himself down, not wanting to yell at Namine about this. He knew that she never really talked about anything she saw unless she was sure about it.

"Why?" He asked softly, the pain of losing the restaurant and the many scares he'd had with his father the past few months evident in his eyes. He opened his mouth to say something else, but when the familiar sound of Namine's cell phone ringing reached his ears, he sighed softly. That was Kairi's ringtone and her calling them when they were on a date was never a good thing.

And, Pence was right, things were not good in the hotel room where Namine's twin sister was desperately trying to hold it together despite the tears that were streaming down her face. Her hands were shaking as she tried to call Riku again, and when she didn't get an answer, she turned her attention to her sisters number. The last thing she wanted to do was to interrupt Namine and Pence on their date, but right now, she just needed someone with her.

But how would she explain? Zidane's dead. The words were strange to her and she wasn't sure that she could physically bring herself to say them when just thinking about them brought fresh tears to her eyes. She was hoping that Namine would just know to come back to the hotel and that Pence would forgive her for interrupting the first alone time he'd had with Namine since he arrived for his mini vacation.

"Come on, Nami... answer the phone. Please"
