Over-indulgence and deprivation

I'm no longer Catholic by any stretch of the imagination, but I will always love Mardi Gras season. I'll never forget that time leef and I took my brother out of high school to use up his "college search" days on a trip to New Orleans during Mardi Gras week. I hadn't intended it to coincide with Lent, but I re-started Scott Sonnon's Tacfit program on Tuesday. Yay!

Hadn't heard of Scott Sonnon's Tacfit program before. Sounds neat. I just watched this sample workout and it seems pretty intense. Do you do these kinds of workouts already? Reminds me a little of CrossFit.

I *heart* Scott Sonnon so much. He is the nicest guy, and 100% sincere about wanting everyone to be their healthy best.

The thing I like best about a lot of his stuff (including Tacfit and Flowfit) is they're all bodyweight-based exercises. No need for extra equipment. Double plus good for my goals!

Here is the level I was doing before, when I managed to bruise my tailbone and blow out my hamstrings:

That's funny to go looking at 'colleges' in New Orleans for Mardi Gras. Just what were you studying? :)

The colleges all close for Mardi Gras, but my brother's counselor didn't know that. :)
