I was sad for all of the usual reasons - I was leaving my family, my friends, and a guy that I'd dated for six years. I was afraid of the unknown.

I went for all of the right reasons - adventure, a new direction, and an exciting challenge. In the end, I'm glad that I didn't let my complacency get the better of me.

Had you broken up with the guy you dated for 6 years by the time you left for Korea? I always thought it was gutsy of anyone to head to a different country to live and work for awhile. Glad things worked out so well for you :)
