[Fanny's going around refilling water pitchers and things. She picks up Adrian's, finds it does not need refilling, and pauses to chat.]

[Cue look of helpless confusion. He's fishing for how much other people know. He suspects most wardens and Martha's friends would know everything, but he can still find out exactly what relative strangers have heard.]

Only a little, darling. How you all ended up in some dreadful haunted house with the wardens locked up in the basement-but I haven't been briefed on the details. It all seems quite awful. And such a terrible casualty count.

So he's sitting up and looking around, and his glances toward the door seem suspicious and vaguely furtive. Or perhaps just longing, if you don't know him well.]

[Judas is kind of half-sitting, half laying in his bed, honestly trying to do more of the former but he's in a considerable amount of pain. He shifts again in his bed before he coughs.]
