Yes, I'm doing okay now, thanks. That was indeed a gigantic mess, but I made some new friends and learned exactly whom to avoid. The drama has basically stopped. Actually, I have been meaning to ask you, since I know you're part of trek_news, is there any way to get the mention of The Drama removed from Friday's newsletter? It's pretty much over now, and I would rather not risk a resurgence. If not, I totally understand. Just thought I would ask!

I'd edit it out if I could but we can only edit the ones we post. Which I understand but sometimes I'd like to make changes to posts from other editors. Wrong? Sure. Doesn't stop me from wanting to.

At any rate, if you PM Friday's editor, she'll probably take it out. We're pretty good about deleting items when we're asked.

I'm really trying hard to ignore the fandom stuff, but when I get casual fans or whatever asking me about it and I give them super watered down version of what happened, to my knowledge, an I get attacked! So now I'm like whatever. You want to know, search it out or ask someone else. I'm not going to talk (much) about it anymore.

I'm anxiously awaiting the release of the fall 2013 schedule at my school. They probably won't be released for some time yet. Summer classes are in full swing. I still need to make appointments with financial aid and the Administrative Justice counselor. I really need to stop procrastinating there! And get my unofficial transcripts from the other college.

I hope you get things sorted with the dogs. I haven't a clue when it comes to what's going on with my crazy cat, let alone with dogs. :-/

I stay as far away from drama as I possibly can. I'm so conflict averse, I avoid it at all costs!

Makes me sad that we can reveal in the fun like we used to!

I'm so excited that you are going back to school!! I understand about dreading those appointments. If I hadn't worked at the school I attend, I'd have been lost. But ask lots and lots of questions. No question is dumb!!! They really are there to help even if it sometimes feels like they aren't. And if you can't get an answer from the first person you ask, keep asking!

Dogs are just too dog-like sometimes!! Hopefully it will settle back down. The upsetment just came out of nowhere!

I was always on the periphery of the H50 fandom so everything sort of passed me by. But unfortunately it happens to some fandoms :( I think stay in your niche with folks that make you comfortable and enjoy it!!

I think the muse may be stirring! I'm attempting to finish the Jim/Bones AU I started about 2 years ago for reel_startrek.

I'm so sorry! I will get some pics to you soon - I've just had madness going on and now it's ended, I'm slowly getting things caught up.

Sorry to hear about the dogs. I have no clue about that, but hope you find a solution that works for you soon.

I didn't even know there was bad stuff going on in H50 fandom; that's how clueless I am (not joining in with discussions works quite well, it seems!). Keep hanging out with us at 1_million_words instead - there's plenty of H50 fans there to keep the fun alive!

Good luck with finding your muses, and also with school-related stuff. I didn't go to Uni(versity) so it's all completely like a foreign language to me, but I do admire your persistence! I hope things all work out. ;-)

No worries about the pictures. I'll put them online whenever I get them. No rush at all!

The dogs will hopefully settle down. It's just so weird that it came out of nowhere. I guess dogs will be dogs!

Stay clueless about the H50 drama - you'll be happier. And 1_million_words is a happy, happy fan place!!! I'm so glad y'all started it!

That's so strange about your dogs. I wish I could offer some advice, but I'm sure you know oodles more about dogs than I do. I have never had more than one at a time.

You are absolutely right about not getting things done when you aren't as busy! I don't know why that is, but it's true for me, too. But you deserve a break and should enjoy it. Productivity isn't all that important.

Saw Iron Man 3 this weekend and LOVED it! Excellent, excellent movie. Have only seen Star Trek once, but I think that's just because I have been focused on other stuff going on right now. I would love to see The Great Gatsby, too, but that falls into the "other stuff is keeping me away from it" category, too.

I haven't seen The Great Gatsby. I've heard it is awesome but it just looks so overdone to me, I don't know if I'll actually go or not. I feel like I should - great literature needs to be valued!
