Oh, what a gorgeous opening to the new series!

When he reveals that he's never been bonded to any of his wives, that it's Donna who's gonna be the first to love him, and he her...that was just so beautiful and special.

Can't wait for more!!

Aw... No comments on the commentary of our matchmakers? No specific lines that caught your attention - other than the section you mentioned?

In any case, I'm thrilled you reviewed! Next bit might take a while, as I'm trying to polish the entire outline a bit more.

I just wanted to get off a quick reply in between a few other things I was doing at the time so was only able to comment on the big picture, so to speak, initially ( ... )

Sorry to ask for that, but I crave details. Those make my day more than anything.

Jack just comes across as someone who'd take credit where it isn't quite due, Sarah Jane WOULD be thinking about the comparisons, Martha would be in shock over him talking about his own feelings... and so on. A lot of that just came to me as I was writing.

Not sure if Susan will make an appearance at some point. Probably not as I've never seen an episode with her. But I won't say nay yet; I know my Muse...

I love Wilf's statement about helping them to make it work, because yes, that's when it really gets hard. Donna's willingness to be bonded with the Doctor is gorgeous, and I adore their exchange of insecurities. Having Jenny is going to make things very interesting, particularly with the support from all the others (oh, and Jack's comments made me snort and roll my eyes. Very him!).

Can't wait for more!

That exchange needed to happen at some point in the series, and the moment just spilled out as I was writing this chapter. Now that those words have been said, it's time for the hard part to begin... And, oh, will they be challenged soon enough! And Jenny will have to save the day - again. But she'll have help.

And that's all I'm saying right now. More needs plenty of work... ;D

Man, I love that icon you used...! Thanks for reviewing!

Loved the whole exchange though I am trying to picture just exactly where Jenny was sitting so that she had such a clear view and the Doctor couldn't see her. Jack just being Jack was funny as hell but it was nice to see Martha maybe gaining some closure over her time as well. Sarah Jane just has the biggest heart and it was nice to see you not writing her as a lovesick former companion as she was portrayed against the great and glorious pink and yellow one. I love her so much!!

Question I notice you started this in 2011 but only have one chapter up, did it never get finished? It is a lovely start to a sequel!!

Eh, I don't remember anymore. :)

Um, yes. RTD has much to explain. Of course, SM has far more.

No, it hasn't. One day... maybe. I'd like to finish the series.
