When he reveals that he's never been bonded to any of his wives, that it's Donna who's gonna be the first to love him, and he her...that was just so beautiful and special.

Jack just comes across as someone who'd take credit where it isn't quite due, Sarah Jane WOULD be thinking about the comparisons, Martha would be in shock over him talking about his own feelings... and so on. A lot of that just came to me as I was writing.
Not sure if Susan will make an appearance at some point. Probably not as I've never seen an episode with her. But I won't say nay yet; I know my Muse...
