Title: YOU THOUGHT WRONG

Rating: T for angst, a character death, and serious Doctor-whump.

Summary: The TARDIS mysteriously dumps 11, Amy, and Rory near Chiswick. Worried about running into Donna, 11 instead runs into someone he thought he'd never see again... and who's furious with him.

Oh, you have hit some of my fave plot points all at once! 1: Eleven and Donna fics (so few of them!) 2: 10.5, being all righteous, 3: the Doctor being made aware what a jackass he is, 4: Eleven finally acknowledging his previous companion (damn you Moffat, they still exist!) Yay for this fic!

Well, keeping reading before you cheer too much about the first point... This fic is about all the reasons I really feel that JE ended on all the wrong notes and that RTD has lost my respect.

Dear Lord - ouch! What a wonderfully painful fic! Fantastic! I adore the way alt!Ten throws all that in Eleven's face and just leaves it for him to have to deal with. I'm also very happy that Amy and Rory don't like what was done either. Can't wait for more!

It's like Handy's saying, "You're always going off, leaving others to deal with the consequences. Here's a taste of your own medicine!" ;D From what little I know about Amy and Rory, I couldn't see them accepting it at all.

More is coming! I was writing it - and a plot bunny that was prompted by an idea of mine that I mentioned over at the D/D comm... I think you'll like it and what else I have in mind...

*lol* Handy as the voice of reason! Considering how I usually write him, that's hilarious.

As for Rory and Amy, I do wonder if Amy would accept it because the Doctor did it and, rather like Rose, she sees him as always right and doesn't question his actions. Rory standing up to him would be awesome though.

And yay for more bunnies! I always like what you write!

After what he's been through, I think he's gained a fair bit of reason!

The biggest difference I see between Amy and Rose is that Amy had a lot more reason to be upset with the Doctor from the start, and she was also a lot younger when she met him. And Amy was smart enough to stick with the guy she was with when the Doctor came back into her life.

We'll see what happens with my newest bunnies... :)

Hey, I like this! First of all, it acknowledges that Ten's era did, in fact, happen (something Moffet seems to have forgotten), and secondly, I never did see how 10.5 could work out in the parallel world with Rose.

I like 10.5 standing up for Donna. Oh, and "Who made you Timelord Victorious?" was well played, 10.5, well played sir. Calling Ten (Eleven) on his shite behavior? Priceless.

Yeah, this was fluttering in my mind, and after some PMs with a Classic Whovian who expressed concern about what happened to Donna after Ten regenerated, I had to write this. Yeah, we need more references to the past eras. Too bad DT didn't insist on more ways of letting newer fans know about the past...

Yeah, those lines kinda wrote themselves. And he has a few years of dealing with Rose to fuel his anger. And he was already angry when he was born, so it wasn't good for Eleven from the start.

Am working on more. Also have a short fic, and three other stories, going...

YAY for awesome, straight-talking Rory! Nice story with a good blend of RTD and SM Who. I will be decidedly put out if anything happens to Blue Ten, though I'm not optimistic about his chances. Loved the Time Lord Victorious line.

As little as I like Series 5-6, I find I like Rory. He and Mickey are so flipping underrated! They ARE companions, and sometimes way better ones than the women they're shunted aside for...

To quote a line from MAAN, which I used as a chapter title in "Shakespearean Cupids," have patience and endure. I'm working on more!

Wee, a Donna/Eleven fic? I love the points u raise here. Especially that Rose, selfish as she was and obsessed with the Doctor as she was, would never have settled for a double. I still don't understand why RTD thought this was a happy solution. Not even Ten/Rose shippers like that ending. And I love that 10.5 finally tells Eleven how stupid he behaved with Donna (and other things, time lord victorious, hee, Donna would have loved that!). Can't wait to read more!!

Yeah, and think about it: 10.5 is practically the Doctor's son. Who really thinks that, had that been raised, Rose would've done anything but tell the Doctor to keep his child? I wonder how ANYONE can be happy with that ending...

She'll appreciate it. I'll give you that much right now... ;D
