Ah, you addressed all of my questions from last chapter! And yes, it comes down to choice, doesn't it? She wanted a baby, so no way would she approve of using any kind of contraception. The question then becomes, why didn't the TARDIS give her something before she turned, when she was recording that video for David and Martha, a three-month contraceptive to protect her? The TARDIS was up to something, trying to set David up with the Doctor, to get them to reveal their feelings. And Jack hit the nail on the head about that one; the Arch sets her up as a human shell, but doesn't muck with her essence, her basic feelings. Donna feels the same way the Doctor does. And it seems that the babies at least appear as human.... they're not out of danger though ( ... )

All very good questions. I hope I answer them in the final chapters.

Ah, yes. Rose. You'll see... Creative may be the word for it.

Ooooh, really tricky question regarding the safety of their unborn child. *hugs him* At least David has considered the Doctor's/Donna's choice in all this.

It'd be really interesting to see this version of the Doctor's dream book and learn how she sees her previous selves.

So Rose is on the hunt for David? Oh dear. This can't end well. Nope, guilt doesn't seem to be an emotion she airs very often. Not even where this 'friend' is concerned. And I won't mention how much of a silly b!tch I think she is. ;p

Yes, although as TM pointed out, the whole condom thing could've been handled better. I think the TARDIS intended for a pregnancy and made sure David was too shocked to think of the right objections that "Donna" would've accepted.

Hmm... I can smell a DVD extra. But no to little smut involved. :D

I think that term is too polite for Rose here.

Oddly, I don't think I've ever heard anyone use the word trimester quite so blase. In fact, it's not a commonly used word over here.

David's excuses for not using a condom are a little vague. If it had been me, I'd have sat down with her and told her that they should wait to try for a baby.

Rose is suddenly underage again. *snorts*

Bobbies is a very old-fashioned word - so old-fashioned that it's not even believable. The police haven't been called that since I was small.

Oh, I had a feeling the Aubertide would show up. Now I fear Rose will mess everything up.

What would someone over there use?

In real life, yes. In fiction, does it work that way? But point taken.

That's how I figued she'd think of it. :)

Really?

Ya think? With how I left that chapter?

Pregnancy is split into three trimesters, not arguing against that, but here it's measured in weeks. A pregnancy is noted as so many weeks along and is due in so many weeks. The midwife will speak in terms of weeks. And so would the doctor, if you needed to see one. The radiographer will confirm (or adjust) the developmental stage in weeks plus days, not in trimesters. Trimeter is not a term you hear very often at all. Twelve weeks is far too long with so much going on, that it's invalid as a point in medical commentary. As a whole, that's different matter. If you have a high-risk pregnancy, the consultant may say that he will want the pregnancy to reach the end of the second trimester to give the baby the best chance of survival. Other than that, it's irrelevant ( ... )

Age of consent is still unclear?! *insert swear* Much worse than others not seeing that she had to be underage when she met the Doctor.
