Ah, you addressed all of my questions from last chapter! And yes, it comes down to choice, doesn't it? She wanted a baby, so no way would she approve of using any kind of contraception. The question then becomes, why didn't the TARDIS give her something before she turned, when she was recording that video for David and Martha, a three-month contraceptive to protect her? The TARDIS was up to something, trying to set David up with the Doctor, to get them to reveal their feelings. And Jack hit the nail on the head about that one; the Arch sets her up as a human shell, but doesn't muck with her essence, her basic feelings. Donna feels the same way the Doctor does. And it seems that the babies at least appear as human.... they're not out of danger though.

The possible implications for the babies when she turns back, though, really give pause. David has some huge decisions to make, although somehow I think the decision will not be up to him, but circumstances. Especially with Rose stalking them and deciding the Doctor is now totally expendable to get to David. She needs to beware; if she really goes through with all of this, David will not willingly go with her. And the Aubertide will use her, then get rid of both her and David, as they consume the Doctor. If/When the Doctor survives this, neither she nor David will ever trust Rose again; it will be interesting to see what sort of punishment the Doctor devises for Rose. She can be very creative that way....
