The team burst through the door, guns blazing, only to find Emily with the suspect cuffed and on his knees. His right hand was bleeding and his weapon had been kicked away from him. Callie just laughed and shook her head as Colby hefted the man to his feet and ushered him out of the building.
Everyone filed out and Don asked, “Are you ok?”
Emily nodded.
He whispered, “I thought I was too late.”
“But, you came for me anyway…”
He winced, “I know you hate being rescued.”
“Make it up to me later,” she smiled suggestively, walking away.
