"Friends? Peter, we haven't been friends ever since you- Since you accused me of blowing up the warehouse."

Ouch. So true, but so painful. ::hugs Sad!Drunk!Neal::

This is *so* believable. Poor Neal.

Yeah, I just kinda liked the idea of Neal being all quiet and withdrawn.

I love this, and I think it does fit in canon, helps explain Peter's acceptance after the opening ep of the second half of season 3, he's been working since this coming to terms with things. If he hadn't had some kind of conversation like this with Neal, I don't think he would have been quite as accepting of how events fall out.

Oh ouch! This perfectly evokes the wasteland of mid-season 3.

Late to the party, but those were perfect scenes and exchanges. It felt like it was taken right off the show.
All of them feel very in-character, and the last line kind of broke my heart a little. Poor Peter, poor Neal.
I wish there was more to this!

Thanks. I just re-read it (cause I tend to even forget my own stuff -- LOL), and suddenly I'm nostalgic. With what's going on in season 5, it just seems like a whole different Neal and Peter, doesn't it?
