I really liked this! Especially the detail at the end where Peter says that he and Neal talked...but didn't - sums them up completely :)

Yep. They can surely talk without really talking. Neal is the master of evasion and diversion.

Very emotional story and I liked that the conflict couldn't easily be resolved here.

Thank you. Writing conflict can be a fickle business, but I'm glad you like how this turned out.

Very nice and very angsty. I feel bad for both boys, Neal's for both being caught between such a rock and a hard place.

I feel bad for them too. Man, I hope this whole treasure thing doesn't explode in everyone's faces.

Oooooh. A lovely tag--I love how the truth of it hangs between them, but Neal isn't ready for Peter to know yet. Because Peter totally knows. This fic has convinced me.

Now I'm eight times more excited to watch this week's ep. :-)

I'm still not sure if Peter really checked Neal's tracking data. I think if he had, he'd been a lot more mad at Neal on the actual show. I'm kinda trying not too be too excited about today's ep because I'm just afraid to be disappointed again. /o\

Neal and Peter have mastered the ability to talk about something while not saying anything out loud. It's very amusing both in the show and in this fic. Plus I loved the line "What can I say, I like your porch."

Poor Neal. We know that things are going to work out since they're more episodes coming but... ah. Yeah.

Anyways. Liked the fic!

I just realized I never replied to your comment. First of all, thank you so much. I think now with the summer finale, this fic is even more interesting. Neal has more figuring out to do, and the stakes just got that much higher.

Also, you kinda made my day by posting this with an icon I made. :-D
