I'm certainly not discounting them, I just can't think of any animated charcters with costumes I like.

Had thought of that as I scanned my DVDs (most of the scanning involved me thinking "no too skimpy", "no she has a generic costume", "no decent female characters"). But I wasn't sure I could pull it off. Would require a lot of make up, but I suppose it's do-able.

There's an idea.
I've got about as much facial hair as he has. I'd just need pointy ears and bow and arrows.
*checks imdb for costume* Ooh and a cloak! And some kinda weird tunic/jerkin thing.

Howdy there, I am trying to pull off all the female characters from films I can think of and this is what I am coming up with:

Ripley from Aliens, not sure if there is a costume in that other than being bald and taping 3 guns together.

Cybil Bennet from Silent Hill, essentially a police womans uniform with leather bottoms, this alternately could (slightly) double up as Mercury man from Terminator 2 if know-one knows who Cybil is, although the police uniforms are quite different.

Similar movie vein is Sarah O'Connor from Terminator series, cant quite think of a costume, but essentially short ponytail + shades + gun + some camo type clothes.

Hmm this is harder than it looks, ohh well, good luck with it all.

Thanks. Of those Ripley is the main one I've seen/liked. Ripley is awesome and Christ-like but in a non-preachy, saving everyone way.
I was tempted but I'm not sure it'll be obvious cos she mostly wears a white vest top and baggy trousers. Which could be a bit generic. Also I don't have the hair for it and I suspect davegotsu will object to me shaving my head for a costume. Which is why I'm also not dressing as Evey from V for Vendetta.

It's OK I've had a few suggestions I can work on.
