Costume advice needed
I need ideas for an identifiable film character I can dress up as.
The outfit needs to be practical and modest enough for work. Which means that my torso needs to be covered, the skirt (if any) can't be too short, and it can't be too tight or heavy.
Unfortunately I can't seem to think of a female character's outfit that fits this description. Stupid impractical female clothes!
I'm willing to dress as a male character, in fact wearing drag to work would be funny. But it'd have to be a smallish white guy or else someone with very identifiable clothes/props.
Thoughts so far:
-Frankie Cook from Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, which would require military style clothes and an eye patch. However she's a secondary character.
-Yvaine from Stardust, would have to acquire long, silver or blue dress.
-River Tam from Serenity, but I don't have the right colour dress or hair and it won't be obvious who I am.
This outfit is alright, even if the film wasn't so good. I think that's her best outfit of the triology.
I have months to get this stuff sorted, but if it's gonna be any good I should think about it now.
