Hey, gosh I'm sorry to hear about your dad. That must have been really scary - I'm glad he's okay. :)

And A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! You turned... seventeen? Sixteen? How does it feel? I'm glad you had a good day and got awesome amazing things!

Also, murder mysteries are AWESOME. I went to one once and I had to dress as a drunken Irish reporter. It was BRILLIANT.

Drunken Irish reporter... I love it!

I am now sixteen. Which is absolutely terrifying. When you were little, did you feel like sixteen was the end of life in general? Like, life as you didn't exist past sixteen, and eighteen even more so? Because I never really grew out of that. For all I know, the Self of me is poised in some theoretical cliff, readying itself to dive. *curls up into the fetal position in the nearest corner*

But anyhoo....

Yeah, that's exactly how I felt when I turned sixteen. It's just like... the start of everything. Like, after this I can only get older. And I can't help but remember what I thought sixteen was like when I was eleven - sixteen year olds were pratically adults. It's so scary...
