I'm very calm really... I thought I would be hysterical.... I think I realized at some point last night I wasn't going to get them and it just added to the bad day I was having and now I can be calm. Besides it helps that I truly believe I will see them one day. =)
p.s. what other pairings do you like in PoT? Do you only like Tezuka with Ryoma? What about Tezuka and Fuji? I am curious =)
I've yet to read a fic where Fuji isn't painted as some sort of sadist and I've yet to read a Tezuka/Fuji fic that isn't angsty in some way or another. I like the Oishi/Eiji pairing and Inui/Kaidoh. From other schools...I don't know if you've got to this part yet (I won't give you spoilers) but there are two charcters: Sanada and Yukimura whom I think go well together.
It's true a lot of people tend to paint Fuji as a sadist or they simply focus on that one aspect of his character and forget all the rest. Just because he has some sadistic tendencies doesn't mean he's a sadist through and through. I did read a short drabble he other day of Fuji/Tezuka that wasn't angsty or sadistic.... just fluffy cuteness....
There seem to be a lot of angst with that pairing though which is more than I like, a bit of angst now and then is good but does it need to be so much? I like the pairing if you forget the angst. Oishi and Eiji are my fav because they are just so adorable together and I love Eiji so much.
I can see some good like hate sex coming from Momo and Kaidoh... like just a situation where hormones are all over the place and a fight just crosses the line... not very original but yeah
Inui/Kaidoh I could see being good... I've just passed where they team up for doubles so you can see them together a bit more now
I like Ryoma/Tezuka of course and in a weird way Nanjiroh and Ryuzaki would be cool

I feel the same way about me not being able to see RM. I was going to fly out to Washington D.C. since that's the closest one (if you can even consider it "close") but it was going to be like $1,000 in total for everything like hotel etc... and unfortunately, I don't have enough for it b/c of school and crap. I'm sad but no use crying about it. :/
I'll just have to see them in Spain one day hahah I would love to have the time and money to make a trip to Europe and like watch a Liverpool game and a Real Madrid game and maybe even an AC Milan game.... It would be like a football trip.... watch at least LFC and RM and like visit a bunch of stadiums... that's what I'd love to do some time
Ohgod me too! I swear I could die happy after that. Not a week goes by where I don't fantasize about doing just that. There are so many people out there that just don't realize how lucky they are to be able to go watch the matches or visit out there. If only life were simpler...
