This year has been one of ups and downs like most. Things took a bad turn at work and I was more uncomfortable than I had ever been for awhile but things are getting better. Happy Holidays
So the holidays for me lately have been more stressfull than joyful. I work at a hotel and as such we are open every day of the year. I use my vacation days at other points of the year for actual vacation and my low seniority always means I end up working around the holidays. I know I've sort of disappeared from here but with life getting complicated and stress and trouble I've not been in a sharing mood. Instead I bottled most of it up. But things are getting better and I'm going to try and come back here.

I work 2:00 pm - 11:00 pm today. It is such an awkward shift especially given we don't usually get much business before 6:30... I don't really know what to do before leaving. Ireland! (and Paris)
My Ireland trip was different from the one to Spain in several ways. I had never been to Ireland before, I had two weeks this time but one week was part of a tour where I was in hotels and not having to make big decisions or worry about getting around. It was also a place I’ve wanted to go for a long time and was an incredible trip.
