So, the gold passes to the last Stargate convention in Chicago went on sale and there already aren't many left. I'm debating. I want to go but it is soooooooooo expensive and Joe hasn't signed on yet. If it weren't so costly, I'd go even if he didn't because I love David Hewlett and Paul McGillion. I'm so glad you posted something, I missed the email yesterday. Laurie and I are definitely going. We almost went this year because the guests were so awesome and then she sold her house and my dad was in the hospital for a month so it didn't work out. I searched for any idea how much the silver packages were going to be or have been in the past, but couldn't find anything. And it's been a couple of years since I've been, so I don't remember. I wish they would post that stuff now. It's not like they don't know.

I almost went last year as well and for the same reason - such a good selection of guests. I'm also a little worried Joe hasn't signed since he usually signs on early. I'm hoping they have a lot of the cast there.

It's so good to hear from you. I guess I'll wait and watch a bit longer.

Yay! Just got the note that Joe is ON for ChiCon and they've posted the silver tickets package. I went ahead and got first row Silver section, M17&18 figuring if something terrible went wrong and I end up not being able to go, surely I can find someone to take the tickets.

Thank you for the heads up!! I just purchased a silver ticket, N16, so almost right behind you. Hopefully I can work everything else out, but I was afraid if I waited I wouldn't be able to get decent tickets later. Yea!!!

I haven't gotten to see or get autographs from several of those you mentioned. I'm hoping Kavan and Torri and maybe Jason will come, but who knows. Chicago is the only convention they've ever had that was close enough for me to go to. I just bought a silver ticket, so hopefully I can raise a few more bucks to go with it and find a roommate to share the room cost with. I have to go since this is the last one and Stargate Atlantis is my only real fandom - probably always will be.
