“Stop your nonsense,” Raphael commanded.

I keep hearing this in a snooty librarian voice and it makes me lol every time.

Small nitpick: "seraphim" is a plural.

You should know that I have the hand-written version stashed away in a Super Secret Hiding Spot with all my other letter and paper lovelies.

The mighty Raphael, Heaven's snooty librarian. *snickers*

*facepalm* 'tis fixed. I always have "seraphim" on the brain for some reason...even if lj doesn't recognize it was a word.

Well, he is the angel of healing and knowledge and shit, right? ...Which, shouldn't that make him one of the cherubim? There's some exegetical controversy over whether Lucifer was a seraph or cherub based on associated virtues and knowledge apparently being the root of sin and IDEK, it's been a sad while since I've looked at this crap.

And by controversy I mean theologians arguing over their own fanon, of course.

Oh man, the angel of knowledge for a lover would be...well. The demon of lust himself wouldn't even be able to complain.

I <3 theological fanon. I found him as both seraph and cherub, so I just went for seraph. Next time, he'll be a cherub...which inspires some strange mental imagery. Thank you, popular culture.

There's a reason Asmodeus came back. Just saying.

Thank you for posting this. It is beautifully unfulfilled. A sequal perhaps?
