Oh god, I love the tone of this universe. I love the shift from the usual dynamic between Cloud and Sephiroth; the feeling of two predators meeting and recognizing the other. The calling... (purrs).

Oho the sparks do fly. Love the extra layer of tension this verse adds! A great first meeting.

Sorry you're feeling sick, I hope you get better soon. This is pretty awesome and I finally went back and read the first fic for this arc. It wasn't as dark as I was afraid it would be but you're definitely skirting the edge of the line, which makes the intensity so sweet it reaches in and grips you like nothing else. I love this story.

Yeah, the first part of it scared off a decent amount of people. In my defense, it was only supposed to be a dark one-parter...and wow, I have this strange sense of deja vu.
