A/N: All deviatesellen's fault. XDDD Based on #27 from her 1sentence Tseng/Cloud challenge. XDD Also inspired by an ff discussion where it was pointed that that there was almost a year-long span between Zack's death and when Tifa found Cloud.

Cloud's request for Zack is heartbreaking. This was absolutely wonderful though, wonderful! If you ever felt so inspired you should write more of these.

I really liked this! Cloud/Tseng is my secret ff7 otp but I've never really seen much done with them (of course, I'm not all that active in ff7 fandom either). I loved the idea of being "off the clock" and what that might mean to someone like Tseng who is so serious and precise. I think you could have explored it a little bit more, especially in regards to why Tseng feels so responsible for Cloud. I would like to have seen more of Tseng's motivations ( ... )

Thanks for the long concrit. Please, don't ever feel like you're overly critical or anything like that: one can't exactly improve without concrit, as it were. ^^

*laughs* The line about Reno was probably unnecessary and would have worked smoother if I made this longer rather than planning it to be several short fics. Pretty much, that line just deals with the game: At one point in the game, AVALANCHE encounters the Turks. Cloud and the others prepare to fight and Reno dismisses them, telling them he was off-duty, and then he resumes drinking. That was just pointing to that.

And those long sentences is the reason I probably need an editor. I tend to rush--a lot. XD If I don't rush a fic out, it tends to sit on the computer for a while.

Seriously, though, thanks for the concrit. If nothing else, it shows you were really reading the fic. ^^

Excellent, I'm glad you appreciate it! I have offered advice to people who weren't really looking for more than a "good job" comment, hence my concern.

See, that would have also made more sense if my knowledge of game canon were more complete. I only played ff7 once a number of years ago and I never finished it.

I fully understand about sitting on fics! If I don't have someone who is looking forward to the completion of one, they never get done. I was sincere about my offer though, so if you would like an editor for anything feel free to e-mail me.

I grin over almost any comment, so I would have been happy with either way.

I think a surprising number of ff7 readers/writers either haven't finished/played the game or haven't touched it in years. Fortunately for us all, that barely affects the enjoyment of the reading. XD

The offer open for FF7 or are you interested in FMA, too?

Oh my god, I am so sorry I never commented on this, when I totally meant to. //;______;// FORGIVE ME.

I love the description of Cloud, the sight of him, so much. And I feel off giving con.crit., because I am not a marvelous writer, just read a lot..maybe more descrpition of the setting? I kind of wanted to know where they were at, but it was about their INTERACTION, so perhaps I am just stupid and ignore me, please.
