This doesn't seem right

I woke up with the most peculiar inability to walk straight. Keep sort of veering off to the right instead. Very strange feeling. Has subsided somewhat, at least I'm not walking uncontrollably into walls now. But my sense of balance is still weird, and my head feels... floaty? Yeah.

Was funny for the first half minute or so, then it just started to feel freaky.

sounds like vertigo, I get it alot, it can sometimes last quite awhile. It's when your inner ear crystals fly loose where they're not supposed to... http://www.ehow.com/how_4677670_treat-vertigo-exercises.html...this is something you can do to help put them back into place, it certainly can't hurt. My sister is a physical therapist and is trained in this therapy. I've always found it MAGICALLY helpful.

Thank you for the link. And yes, it shouldn't be anything more than that. It's not the first time it's happened, but usually it's been accompanied by a bad case of the flu, so... I get a bit panicky I suppose, since my mom has an officially undiagnosed (they never figured out exactly what it is) inner ear/neurological thing that makes her balance wonky and my sister's balance is screwed because of neurological problems.
