[#40] I Draw Close to those Red-Stained Lips...

...And I want to break down, violently.

So. I have finally joined the ranks of those who have seen the PV!!!!
...And I have joined the really small group that kinda dislike it.
Sadly (for me anyway), as often happens to me with KAT-TUN songs, no matter how much I dislike it initially, I grow to like it in the end. Which is exactly what happened here. XPPP (It happened with Keep the Faith too. >.> Damn them and their catchy songs.) But yeah, I'm actually okay with the song so there's no bias here on disliking the PV.

I'm really starting to get weirded out by Koki. >.> I was watching Shorty today on my way to school (ahahaha, almost missed my stop) and was like, I miss this Koki. (And what the hell were those english lyrics? >.> Shortest rap ever of all the singles isn't it?)
Thankfully (for the group?), I'm starting to really like Taguchi. ...Wonder if there's some balance thing going on here. XPPP I do miss his blonde hair though but it didn't look the WORST in the PV.
a;skdfjaslfj, Kame's eyeliner creeps me out. I can't stand to see him. >.<
JIN. NNnn;alksjdflkasjdf ghasdf;jweiur. GOD. That HAT thing. And him bringing his hands to cover his face and then moving them back slightly. OR OR OR. At the end, that little smile as he moves away from what they call microphones. a;ldfkjasklfj SO MUCH WIN.
Ueda looked good. Seriously. That was about the only thing I could think of.
And I always love Nakamaru. <3333333

But really. Despite my growing adoration for the song, the PV was just so strange. I can't decide if I dislike this one more or Keep the Faith. It's a weird feeling. I haven't been flaily over KT for a long time.

OH, and while I was on the bus on my way in to school, I kept thinking of this scene.

Jin looked at the faces that were gathered in the small throne room. "Ne, ne?" He started, calling their attention to him. "You know, if we put our initials together, we'd be KAT-TUN!"

Everyone blinked at him, confused.

"It's like we're a band," he said, a little more insistant now.

Everyone ignored him and the rest of them turned their attention back to King Johnny.

"You-tachi. Save the magic forest from going up in flames. Oracle Koichi foresaw it and told me to form this in order to prevent it from happening." Johnny boomed from his throne, the crown crooked on top of his head.

They exchanged looks - none of them knew who the other was, much less what they could each do. Koki raised an eyebrow. "We're supposed to save this place? I don't even know these people."

Taguchi pouted. "Well, that's what the journey's for! Getting to know each other and working together." Nobody seemed to hear him as Koki nudged Nakamaru.

"What can you do?" Koki asked.

Nakamaru pulled out his oddly decorated microphone stand staff, and started beatboxing - the top of his stand staff started to glow an orange before a fire ball hit the spot right next to Koki's feet. He stopped, looking pleased with himself before Jin said, rather nonchalantly, "That takes a lot of time, doesn't it?"

"Is that really the extent of your powers?" Koki asked, giving him a pitying look.

"I'd like to see you do better," Nakamaru snapped, pouting slightly.

Koki grinned, pulling out a stand staff identical to Nakamaru's. "Ore wa Joker," he hissed into it before the top glowed a green and the ground underneath them started to shake for a few seconds before stopping abruptly.

"Nononono," Jin said excitedly before pulling out his own staff. "I have one too!" Everyone watched as he did some obscene movement with his tongue, the top of his staff glowing a darker silver than it already was. Suddenly the wind inside the room picked up and in front of them a small tornado whirled before poofing into dust just as quickly as it was formed.

Kame snorted beside him which made Jin throw him a dirty look. Without saying a single word, he pulled out his staff and screeched loudly into it, the rest of them covering their ears to avoid from hearing it. The staff glowed a more intense red than it had for Nakamaru before fire started to rain from the ceiling. He stopped it and they blinked at him.

"You win," Koki murmured. Taguchi nodded vigorously beside him. Kame grinned in turn, until suddenly a bolt of lightning struck a foot away from him. Kame jumped, knocking into Jin in the process.

A bright yellow light on Ueda's staff told them exactly who'd done it and it dimmed seconds later. Ueda looked at them quietly, a small smile on his lips.

"Or not," Nakamaru said, blinking at him.

Jin stared, "You didn't even do anything! How'd that happen?"

Ueda answered serenely, "The fairies helped me."

Everyone stared at the burning forest before rearing their head towards Kame. "You just had to use your strongest spell?" Koki snapped.

Kame frowned defensively. "We would've died if I hadn't!"

"We were supposed to save the forest," Nakamaru insisted. Kame crossed his arms. "I save you guys and this is what I get in return?"

Jin stood to the side, looking exhausted and obviously not wanting to fight with them. Ueda gave Taguchi a look before the male smiled brightly, pulling out his own staff. "Ireguchi, Deguchi, Taguchi desu!" he chimed before it glowed a bright blue and the entire forest was covered in a heavy rain (not including them, of course).

The other three didn't seem to notice, too enraptured in their arguing.

...Um, this sounded better in my head.
