- Got bored with cop novel I was reading (thought it would be like In The Wood, but was more like an episode of Law & Order) and picked up Christopher Buckley's Boomsday. It is brilliant. The main character is named Cassandra, called Cass, and works at a PR firm in DC. Will write on it once I'm more than 60 pages in ( Read more... )

Ooh! I saw Christopher Buckley talk about his latest a few months ago- he's hilarious. Can't wait to hear what you think of Boomsday. :)

Mom was so serious when she asked me. And yesterday it was obvious that I was a lot better than I had been, except for my scratchy throat. Which is not a symptom. She's an odd woman.

Yay for weather! And Detroit always gets Wisconsin weather a day late. Tomorrow for you will be glorious and hot, then. :)

And except for the sexy/throaty voice I have going on, my sickness is gone. Too bad Mom caught it ...
