A run down of my yesterday:
- Got bored with cop novel I was reading (thought it would be like In The Wood, but was more like an episode of Law & Order) and picked up Christopher Buckley's Boomsday. It is brilliant. The main character is named Cassandra, called Cass, and works at a PR firm in DC. Will write on it once I'm more than 60 pages in.
- Mom came in last night, asking if I have Swine Flu. No, Mom, I don't. I had a low-grade temperature last week and have not vomited or had diarrhea. My cold is getting better, despite my coughs. I'm just trying to get the junk out of my lungs.
- Bought Dad the Star Trek Trilogy (movies II - IV) for Father's Day. It's kind of a present for myself, too. :)
- Cut my bangs myself for the first time ever. They don't look too bad, except they don't quite blend in with the rest of my cut. At least I have my bangs back.
- Awesome lightening storm last night. It's still raining and thundering this morning. I just love summer storms! I hope that they'll stop tomorrow, though, for the Milwaukee Meet-up. We'll be inside, but I hate driving in hard rain.
