Heh. You mean in the introductions? The music comes from one of several YouTube videos covering the top songs of recent decades, the movies come from these Wikipedia lists, and the words come from Merriam-Webster's fun Time Traveler gadget.

Finding fics for each year was indeed a fair sized research project, though. I relied mostly on Fanlore, with some additional searching on AO3 and the Professionals Circuit Archive.
