Elementary 3x03

My poll hasn't gotten much attention (yet) - just comment and let me know which shows you want to discuss with me!

I'll just go right ahead and write up a few thoughts on

Yeah, i tried to click on Grimm but it said I wasn't allowed to see the poll or something so I wandered off.

I always read your reviews if I've seen the ep/show, and occasinally comment. I've only seen the first ep of Elementary so far though, so can't read this yet.

I tend to lag behind in currently airing shows, we watch so much we tend to let them build up while we're catching up on others.

Also, some evil friend gave us seven seasons of Murdoch Mysteries, which is taking a while..

I know, the poll is not working the way I thought it should. But I didn't do anything? I mean, I have no idea what else I should have done to make it accessible. I need to practice this. //)

So, Grimm, noted. I'm watching it with Neery, so we're always a little behind, especially in winter, when there is also ice skating to do. :D

Me, too. The only thing I am usually current on is SPN, since I'm doing the tagathon and need to deliver art at most two weeks after each ep aired. Not that I'm managing that, lol. I still have dozens of icons for 10x05 to make and haven't even seen the eps after it yet. /o\ Still having fun with the tagathon, though. The comm is a really nice and supportive environment.

Okay, that is odd. Was there always an LJ poll in the entry? Did I just not see it? Because I clearly remember clicking the link that says "View poll: Shows" and it tells me I don't have access. I have no idea why because we are actually also friends on DW! This is what I get:

a) i am glad my flist is not dead. :D

b) i see your point about discussing shows, but i don't venture out onto open forums because of the wank and hate going on most everywhere. it's why i ended up on lj in the first place.

c) i still have over one season of white collar to go, so maybe i'll just review that when i'm done. ;)

I too couldn't access the poll. Is it possible you have it set to "friends only" on DW?

I don't watch SPN and Elementary and Grimm are shows I watch and enjoy well enough but not to a level where I want to get in to meta about them. I don't know if you had any other shows on your poll.

I thought that to be the reason at first as well, but Tinnny and I actually ARE friends on DW and still I cannot access it! That is indeed odd.

a) Yay my flist isnt dead.

b) I have set the poll to "registered users" - that or "access list" are the only two options. I have no idea why it's not working. Maybe because I added it to an existing post? I made the post with semagic and added the poll in later. Maybe it doesn't like that? I have no idea why that would matter. I may try it again some other time.

c) I only had SPN, Elementary, Grimm and Sleepy Hollow on it. Those are the four I watch right now. I have gotten one positive feedback for Elementary so far and one for Grimm.

Like the others I couldn't do the poll at dreamwidth. And here on LJ it told me I'm not allowed to fill it in. I was about to comment about that, but thought I might try again later. (It's still not working)

I would have clicked Grimm, btw. ;D

The poll thing is weird, but I am glad my flist isnt dead.

I will note that you said Grimm. I am watching that with neery, so we're always a little late, especially in winter. But that's not going to deter me. :D

It is weird. - First thing I checked was if it was set to private by accident. Hm.
I'm actually surprised that my flist is rather active at the moment. A good bunch of people got back into posting and commenting on a more regular basis again. Which I like. Because interaction and commenting is what this thing is about at the end of the day. ;) (Can't remember the last time you commented in my journal though. ;p But beside Grimm I don't think we share a lot of fandoms at the moment, right?)

We are not up-to-date with Grimm right now anyway. We watch it with our friend, and just saw the first episode last week. It takes so long, if you can't watch more than two episodes when she is here. (And we didn't start as soon as it aired, as we still had other stuff to finish. :()

Eek, you are completely right. I have not been a good lj friend these past years. I usually am too tired to comment. But that last one is getting better and my flist is getting more quiet, so I'll definitely make a better effort now.

Yeah, I know how it is. I think I'll just ignore how far I am behind and just post my thoughts on stuff whenever I watch it, no matter how late. It turns out you guys aren't any faster than I am, so there's no reason to feel bad about it.

I put down Elementary and Sleepy Hollow on the poll.

Elementary is my only must see show. It's my treat at the end of my work week. I love how Sherlock processes his emotions. When someone confronts him about his actions or feelings about things, first, there's denial, then he mulls things over, finally he'll speak about what's going on in his head. It's the only way he can handle things.

I watch for the people interactions because, really, I think the weekly murder cases sometimes lack a whole lot of logic. lol.

Thank you for voting even though I fail at making polls.

I only am up to date with SPN, since I'm doing the tagathon. Everything else I just watch whenever I want to, and I have very little time. So right now I'm behind about three weeks for Elementary and about 6 weeks for Sleepy Hollow, and 2 weeks for Grimm.

I love that, too. It reminds me of myself, actually. I am not very socially adept, and I can so sympathize with him. Not so much with the genius part ;), but the emotional part yes.
