That is the beauty of this challenge, for me. It is fannish (or it wouldn't motivate me at all *g*), but you can't concentrate on one single fandom. You always need different fandoms to make the set complete. Well, it's not mandatory, but I just think a set looks better if it's well distributed. So that forces me to include things I wouldn't otherwise icon. It really is an interesting challenge.

It's a nice set of icons. I'm taken with your colouring and with your framing choices, particularly in the doctor set.
