I only just watched it! Wasn't it awesome? :DDDDDD

I was overall really amused how all the scenes of Sam being highly unimpressed with Reese and with their mission echoed Astolat's fic from a few days ago. My favorite bit was Sam calling Reese "Your poorly socialized guard dog." LOLOLOL

Fusco is back, yay! I've missed him. And I like that he's still a bit of a morally gray character, that he was warning Carter to not get tangled up in the Cal Beecher investigation - because Fusco is still, to a certain degree, more out for himself and more concerned with his own safety than Carter will ever be. And yet he's also trying really hard to be a good partner to her, and doing a great job! I loved his cold, threatening smile to Beecher when he was warning him away from Carter. That was a very John Reese sort of expression.

I had wondered about "coming down" from the relevants to the irrelevants. Not sure the show is doing itself a service by comparing themselves to the Relevant team. You know, I can see how Sam might see it as a come-down ( ... )

Do you mean he warned her away because he thought she might find out more bad things about Fusco (which I don't think is the case here even though they played that angle a few times over the past episodes), or because he was ( ... )
