Though, I actually think I could like the new Stefan. He could be fun to have around!
Yes, from a comedic standpoint, it's cool to have Stefan around. Always having to search for him would have gotten old soon, too. It may be interesting to see how the others react to him. It's just sad that speculation on his motivation is totally useless now. I wouldn't call myself a stan (even though I do still find him hot and love seeing him), but throwing away one of your main characters like that... . Depresses me.
He's become all schmoopy and un-Damon and... just, not at all what interests me.True. I liked all of his scenes with Katherine. Elena apparently makes him lose all his cognitive facilities. //( I would still like to see them together and then let everything go to hell when Elena realizes she's been living in a fantasy world, imagining him to be the great hero which he's really not. :D Oh well. I think they're setting him up to be the hero, though. Like Andy said, love has changed him and now he actually is becoming a good person/
