Y’know, nothing teaches a person humility like being trounced by a guy with a wooden sword. Ow…

I think I got in a fair number of good hits, anyway. Not as many as I was on the receiving end of, but still. Warren, I’ll remember to work on my stance for next time.

Speaking of scrapes and bruises, how many people here know someone (in Purg or at home) ( Read more... )

I did not heal you magically because sometimes pain is the greatest mentor. You are lucky it is merely bruises.

Were these actual blades, you would have been reduced to ribbons of gore and viscera.

Now, perhaps we should also remember that yelling the words "SNEAK ATTACK" negates the entire purpose of a sneak attack.

...understood. I'll work harder. You were right that this is much harder than learning to use a gun.

And yeah, I'll remember that for next time.

Indeed. It will take quite a while before you understand more than the basics, and years before you become a master at it.

I am wholly in favor of the spirit of fair play, child, but I did say to use whatever advantage you had.

Screaming those words while behind me was rather pointless, and thus I awarded you extra bruises for it.

Assuming I'm around for that long, I'll be willing to learn. Things that take a long time to learn are usually the most worth learning.

Yeah, thanks a lot. No pain, no gain. Now I've got bruises to remind me exactly what not to do.

Some places are just infested with them, sad to say. Where are you from, anyway?

Yeah. They're totally not as good as Red Team, and I'm not just saying that because I'm on it. You know them?

Earth, Scotland if you wanna be exact. Full o' tourists an' fuckin' chavs...

Meh, I kinda like them both. Like a lotta the folk I've meet here- they're fictional in my world. I think it's pretty fuckin' awesome t' think I migh' be a cartoon character in some world...

Wow. I spent most of my time on Earth in Brazil, honestly. I hear Scotland is really beautiful.

That's a really creepy thought. I mean, the Joker is here and all, but...still. What if I'm a video game character in somebody else's world? Or what if I'm the only non-fictional person here? Scary...
