I've actually given this way too much thought.

* Can Glitch's brain be put back in?

Yes, but it ain't easy. Hemisperectomy is a punishment of the last resort for irredeemable and dangerous criminals; it's not meant to be reversed. Plus, in Glitch's case, they have some extra brain to contend with, since Az's technologists used cloning techniques to create a full brain to run the machine. The operation will require a combination of surgery, alchemy, magic, and psychic Viewer mojo. Luckily they have all those things.

* If not can Glitch still access his Ambrose self through the help of a Viewer like Raw?

* How old is Ambrose?Late thirties to early forties (depending on how much I'm whittling down the age difference between him and Az). This is a bit iffy considering that they made absolutely no attempt to make AC look ten years younger in that flashback (but then, they made no attempt to have Azkadellia look like a teenager either), but oh well. BTW: the Queen calls him "my old friend" as a private joke, since he ( ... )

My fanon, she asked for him to teach her the language of the Ancients as a child (she had a crush) and he nick named he Azkadee.

She so totally had a crush! She was right at the age (11-14) when girls do get crushes on their teachers or other available geniuses, especially if they are youngish and cute, and he was obviously adorable.

And someone had to teach her the language of the ancients, and my guess is that it wasn't Tutor (his methods leave something to be desired).

Az/Glimbrose is my OTP, and it is rather tragic that there are only about two people in the whole fandom who write it other than as a convenient adjunct to Cain/DG. Usually that means 60,000 words detailing every breath between C/DG with the occasional mention every few chapters that Glitch and Az got married and had babies without ever mentioning how they got past the fact that she cut out his brain and put it in a jar. *sigh*

...I want your babies now, kthnx. It was the impossible, torturous pile of this nonsense that drove me away from properly shipping them. Thankfully my personal canon/fanon is so fluid that I can still get on board with it, even if I like it more effed up and weird than heart-and-flowers 4eva.

ALSO: your stuff about the brain and cloning and such? GENIUS. ♥

amendment to #1: Re-brainment does result in permanent brain injury (not because of the surgery but because of all the tinkering the alchemists did to the brain in the jar). I plan on having much fun with brain damage in my current project, including but not limited to: permanent amnesia, seizures and senesthesia.

I've gone with yes, but some complications. He still has misfires and they can't take the zipper out. Which is okay, because he uses people's bigotry over headcases as a way to spy and for them not to know it. This technique has a limited lifespan because his mouth has a tendency to get away with him when his pride is hurt or someone has insulted those he holds dear.

3. How old is Ambrose?

He's a year older than Az.

4. Is Ambrose related to the royal family in some way?

No, but he is considered family.

5. Was Ambrose born into high Society? Or did his intelligence get him there? Ambrose was born in the noble classes, but his parents died before DG was born, making him a ward of the Queen. After he moved in, they discovered and encouraged his prodigy abilities. He is from the O.Z., and I think his explanation of muglug was remembering that DG wasn't from the O.Z. He has an estate out somewhere in the Eastern Territories, but lets the people who have been taking care of it all these ( ... )

Yes he can....but with less and less help over time *points to mini-series* He started glitching less towards the end...

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...I haven't decided...o.O I'd say.......5-7ish older than Az. How old is Az, you ask?

I have no bloody clue...

I like to ignore ages b/c it hurts my brain to think about it and make DG/Cain not have a ridiculous age gap

Yes, but he's not made whole, not completely. He's still glitches because his brain is back but it had to be 'rewired' so-to-say. He has 90% of his memories back but some things are lost to him.

If it can't be put back then yes I feel Glitch can access his Ambrose self with the help of a viewer like Raw.

3. How old is Ambrose?

I'm taking the cheap out and going with 42 the same as Alan Cumming. Thought I think you can get away with in his 30's.

No, he's not related to the royal family.

I'm not sure. Maybe he was born a minor in high society but his intelligence made him stand out in the crowd.

Sorry, I mess up writing that. It's suppose to read

Bonus Question: Do you ship Cain/Glimbrose, Queen/Ambrose, DG/Glimbrose, Azkadellia/Ambrose(Glitch) or Ambrose/Queen/Ahamo? Why? And are you open to the other ships?DG/Glitch thought I'm open to almost all ships. DG/Glimbrose is the only one I've read so far but I'm still new to this fandom. I'm not into any cheating/lying about who is father to which girl. It seems to go against what we saw on screen and it would have to be bloody good writing for me to read a AU story like that ( ... )
