DG/Cain Challenge
OK, I'm new to posting in live journal so if I miss something like a tag, please forgive me. Oh and I hope its ok to post a challege here.
I've noticed in most of the Tin Man fics I've read, it's always assumed that the O.Z. has old fashioned views on propriety and the DG always wears dresses. While I can believe the O.Z. could have those old fashioned views (such as ladies never being alone in the company of men), I picuture DG fighting for and winning the right to wear more 20th century style clothing, but not having as much success in changing those views.
My idea:
Set at least 1 year after the end of the mini series. (I want Cain to have had enough time to mourn and move on from Adora.) DG and Cain are friends, nothing more. They are caught in a compromising postition that forces them to get married. It is during this marriage that they begin to have less than platonic feelings for each other.
Must include:
* Both DG and Cain's POV. other pov's are up to the author.
* Them trying to adjust to married life.
* DG wearing pants, dresses if the occassion calls for it.
* No previous romantic feelings for each other. I'd like to see them develop as they adjust to each other.
Other things I would like but are not a must:
* Cain having to have his own security detail. He is after all the princesses husband.
* Az/Glitch
* A minimum R rating. Really because I would like to see them notice things about eachother, and having fantasies about each other that slowly begin to progress in rating. (Hope that makes sense).
