Mohinder blinked. “Of course I am. I should really be asking you that…”
Peter was earnest. “Mohinder, it’s okay that before you, knew you… felt something for him.”
At that, Mohinder looked away. For a time he said nothing. Then, softly, “What I loved was a timid young man, insecure in his powers.”
Peter couldn’t help but smile. “I wasn’t talking about me.”
Mohinder silenced him with a kiss. Then seemed to almost breathe against his closed lips, “What I loved wasn’t real.”
