So, today I had a lecture on the history of medicine, and getting into the long-standing difference between the philosophies of Osteopathy and Allopathy.

So normally that would be all well and good.  But my professor likes to have one-sided, pretty shallow understanding of ancient culture and ancient medicine.

I also failed to mention the continual reference to Judeo-Christian beliefs that made several of my friends highly uncomfortable.

This is what we get for having a professor who is also a minister teach our medical humanities class.

(4 hours on how to take a spiritual history, 15 minutes on how to take a sexual history, next to nothing on drug seekers and nothing on alternative life-styles.... )
