So, today I had a lecture on the history of medicine, and getting into the long-standing difference between the philosophies of Osteopathy and Allopathy.
So normally that would be all well and good. But my professor likes to have one-sided, pretty shallow understanding of ancient culture and ancient medicine.
Do not tell me that the Ancient Egyptians had no idea what they were doing medically. They were performing complex surgical procedures thousands of years before we thought it would be a good idea to bleed people.
Also... nice of you to never mention Chinese medicine.
It was alright actually because I just spent the lecture trying not to listen to him and reading bacteriology.
BUT I did learn something relatively interesting that I will share with you all. Check it out!
