I'm about to head off to bed, but I wanted to just skim the top off of the whirlpool of thoughts I've been living with these days, hopefully making it that much easier to rest peacefully tonight as I'm starting to get back into that panic-mode pattern where I wake bolt upright out of a deep slumber several times a night remembering something else ( Read more... )

Winter storm watch tomorrow, 90% chance of snow here! I know everybody else is sick of it, but... not me.

I love hearing the train whistles here! I used to hear the trains that crossed Old Coachman Road when I was growing up. I missed them so.

Lemme know your plans/schedule so we can get in a little paleonerd time!

Oy. Try me after a winter like the one we've had here in Lafayette. I'm up to HERE with the white stuff. But there are plenty of folk around these parts who still love it, so maybe it's just a matter of taste. We all know there's no accounting for that, especially when it comes to the weather (why else would people actually spend time outdoors in the summer in Florida??).

Anywho, will keep you posted re: my crazy packing schedule... I am definitely not heading back to the FLA without some Paleo-bonding! Maybe on a train! Okay, maybe not. :)
