Palin? Likable? Not even marginally, imho. She wreaked more havoc on McCain's campaign than Godzilla ever did in Tokyo. Lady, you don't give shout-outs to third graders in a national debate, where things like decorum and, um, tact are traditionally observed. (I know it's an American debate, but still!) You don't spend $150,000 on clothing, using the credit cards OF YOUR OWN STAFF to buy some of them, and then hide those purchases from your own running mate. You don't use state funds to tote your children along to events where they weren't even invited, then lie about it later on.

Sorry, but I am just so overwhelmingly disappointed in her, it's not funny. While she isn't the first woman to be nominated for the vice presidential position, she was the first to have a serious shot at actually winning it. Thus she could have been a role model, could have got more women into the political spotlight. But she failed miserably. She wasn't the only reason I voted for Obama this year, but I sure as hell didn't want her anywhere NEAR the White
