I had a rough evening yesterday. I just felt so...odd and alone, which was odd. I've almost had it up to here (note, "here" is at about forehead-height) with all the dating sites and stuff. Jeebus, what plan is this? My plan with Fido SAID it was $25 but after all the other charges afterwards, it ends up being more like $45 a month.

It's a corporate plan through Bell that is only open to BMO employees, unfortunately...I'm sure there are others for other corporations out there. There seems to be new offers on a monthly basis, too. I got on board with the "Back to School Special" which has since expired.

At my Shell job, they offered one as well - I never took anyone up on it though.

I agree, it is fucking impossible to meet people in this city, particularly people who you are attracted to and who are attracted to you back. I feel your pain. Funnily enough, I've had the most luck picking up guys in calculus class!

To meet people (but not to hook up, because these people are not attractive and it's not a hook up site), try meetin.org. It's a great way to meet new people, and you never know!

Yes I know, but I don't do calculus! It's the one part of math that (so far) I've bombed in; everything else I've aced. So unless being dumb is attractive, that wouldn't be a place for me to go hunting. :p

I have trouble meeting people too, I can't give you much advise in that department. But thanks for posting that video, that comic is unintentionally hilarious.

Oh dear LORD you went with Bell? Have fun being screwed over constantly with them and having shitty reception (depending on where you are maybe...but I couldn't get any service in my basement the only place I ever had full bars was in the mall). We had them through my mum's work and they were TERRIBLE. Charged us for a bunch of extra things, said they'd wave fees and didn't and once you're locked in you are LOCKED IN. I was so glad to be rid of them by the time my three years was up. It wasn't worth the pain and hassle to save a few bucks...which weren't saved in the long run anyway because they kept charging us for the extra stuff. We called our rep and after two complaints he stopped taking our calls. The billing centers are useless. They tried to change our contracts on us six months before they were up so they could charge us MORE MONEY. My mom bitched LOUDLY about that one and they backed off, but said they were doing it only 'specially for us ( ... )
