Tim's Amazing Race Lives On!

A few summers ago I put together an extensive internet-based "reality TV game show" over at Toon Zone called The Amazing Race: Toon Zone. It went well but for many it proved too hard, frustrating, and just plain too time consuming. You're probably half joking, but marrying an American and getting a citizenship is not easy. Dave's sister is going through that. She had to do months and months or paperwork, and have proof of her relationship-love notes, cards, etc-and go down to the embassy or whatever for an interview and present all the paperwork. She was then approved to be allowed into the country on a fiance's visa. She was also lucky enough to get a work permit. However, she then found out that her work permit only allows her to work under her fiance visa. Since she is now married and no longer a fiancee, she can't work. And she is broke. Also, for a certain period of time, if she wants to leave the country, she has to ask permission and go through a bunch of paperwork!

Oh don't worry, whenever it happens, I fully intend on keeping my Canadian citizenship. Dual to the death, baby. :)

I know it's not as simple as just marrying into it, but it gets your foot in the door. :)

PS - Should I marry her to get my American citizenship just so we can both apply and be a team on the real version of the show?

P.S. The game is frustrating as hell, but I really enjoy it. It takes tons of research and digging, but leaves you with a feeling of satisfaction at the end.

I didn't want to do it after the first night, but I have to admit it has been kinda fun.

Yeah. But I can't wear the same Bridesmaid dress when you and Kat get married. I'll need to get a new one to match Liz and Leah's dresses.
