Apparently Starbucks has promised to remove cochineal extract from their food/beverages. It's a flavourless red dye used as an alternative to petroleum-based Red Dye #40, and is a significant cash crop for Central and South American subsistance farmers. I spend a lot of time commuting in the car, and I would like to listen to the radio, sometimes. I know it's a well kept secret, but I don't enjoy contemporary music, and I find most radio stations to range from irritating to banale.
