*Tim is out on the beach skipping rocks across the placid water. He's good at it too, making the ripples intersect each other. He turns towards the communicator which is perched on a piece of driftwood*

Anyone know if anythings out there? On the other side of this lake? Ocean or whatever?

According to existing data from previous residents, if you travel too far from land something will drag you under. You die and wake up in the pool.

People can shoot lightning, and set things on fire with their minds and who knows what else.

Nothing I can see. But I mean, I'm just throwing rocks at it. But there's nothing dead on the beach or anything.

There was an island out there...is it still there? I can never tell until the little boats get close, because it looks like it's made from chalk.

I don't see an island.. wait, what little boats?

Uh huh. Last summer, there was a bunch of little boats down by the dock.

But if you sailed them too far out past the island, you got turned around by the current. Even if you paddled hard.

Oh, there's no boats down here now. I guess the mansion really doesn't want us to leave. I heard if get lost in the forest you'll wake up in the mansion too.
