*So Tim has already discovered the strange foot and a half tall action figure of Brian. And after getting over his initial terror of a moving and sort of living doll has vaguely come to terms with the thing. Right now it's sitting on the couch with a controller in it's hands, next to some chip wrappers and soda cans. Obviously now that he has a ( Read more... )

No one else around here plays so ... yeah. And shut up, he's kicking my ass right now.

*In the background the doll flips him off.*

Yeah fuck you, you're cheating you bastard.

So?

*He's pretty stoked that Brian is there. Even if he is a kinda creepy doll.*

Oh good. It's not just me. It's .. It's my best friend from back home. I totally don't get it. They got brought here as dolls?

It's got to be another event.

{ It's either that or your doll is missing a few maggots. }

[ Philip hopes it's just another event, because he has no idea what to do if living dead dolls become a permanent feature.

He looks at the screen, only realising now what Tim is doing with his new friend. ]

...You're playing video games with... with it-- with him?

*shrug* Why not?

*He's sort of hoping it actually IS Brian, but as a doll. It acts like Brian anyway.*

I mean what am I going to do?

[ Don't mind the bright red graze across Alex's cheekbone. ]

Shit. You have one too?

Yeah. I guess everyone does. It's not so bad. It's a mini Brian. WHO CHEATS AT VIDEO GAMES.

*That last part was directed back over his shoulder at the doll, who turns and flips him off before going back to the game he's playing.*

It's not Brian. Don't let it make you think it is.

[ Wow, someone's got a bee in his bonnet. Good thing he's not speaking loud enough for the doll in the background to hear. ]

What? It's close enough. What difference does it make?

[ Let's establish right now that, while Tim looks vaguely familiar, Daniel doesn't entirely recognise him. He didn't pay close attention to the faces of Clarence's corpses, and he really was incredibly drunk during that Christmas party.

Let's see if we can make it third time lucky, huh? ]

It looks like a good number of them have appeared, all throughout the mansion.

[ He's taken his handheld communicator to one of the plush armchairs by the fire, and he's talking quietly, as if trying not to disturb somebody. ]

I seem to be the only one who's okay with this. Guess I lucked out.

It... certainly passes strangeness.

"J went home, Tim."

His voice is flat and dead, with no trace of apology for the news or for hacking a private transmission.

Oh well... Good for him!

"Yeah."

There's a soft thud, a rustling of papers, and a sharp indrawn breath from Mark.
He's been ignoring his ragdoll-daughter to the best of his abilities, but she's now mutely shuffling through the files at his elbow--always interested in Daddy's work--and it's getting hard to continue.

Well I mean.. Him being home... And me being here. That's a really good thing. *He silently takes note of the noises coming from the other end of the comm*
