Sorry, I kind of cheated - it's a double drabble, but with a natural break between the first and second hundred words.
Author's Note 2: Many thanks to badly_knitted who chose just two of the many titles for me to consider when I said there was too much choice for me to pick anything. Hope this is what you had in mind when you named this prompt...
“It looks like a knife of some sort. Alien tech. I’ve traced it to a location… a gay bar in the city centre.”
Jack grinned. “Get your clubbing clothes, Ianto. Sounds like a job for us.”
“Can you be any more specific Tosh?” Ianto asked.
“No, afraid not… but we’ve seen the material before. We have a device we can use to detect it. You have to be close though.” She handed Jack a plastic cylinder around 8 inches long. “This will vibrate and glow and the metal in the weapon will react, twitching as if attracted to a magnet.”

“And we have a winner”, Jack said, feeling the detector vibrate. A man with a bulge in the front pocket of his jeans was dancing close to them.
“Yup that’s him,” Jack said. “Unless he’s just pleased to see you...”
Ianto rolled his eyes, holding out his hand for the detector.
Jack fished in his jacket pocket and Ianto couldn’t help the look of surprise on his face.
“What?”
“Oh um, I thought you put it in your jeans pocket,” Ianto said, his gaze straying downwards.
“Nope. I am pleased to see you. You look positively edible in those jeans!”
