The Doctor half-tugs April into the TARDIS - not that it's necessary, because April would come along perfectly willingly, but it's what the Doctor does. Like he's in any rush at all when he has a ship that travels in space and time

April's busy looking around and taking in the changes from the familiar steampunky look, and doesn't actually notice Jack's question at first, somehow assuming he's talking to the Doctor.
"Doctor, you changed it! I'm not sure if I like this look or not..."
And then she notices Jack's actually talking to her, and grinning, and he's no John Cusack, but he looks like a 1940's movie star or something, and he's grinning and she can't help but turn rather red.
"Um. April. April Dorian." And she still gets a little giddy when she says that.
"I like this one," the Doctor says, sounding a little put out.
Jack ignores the Doctor's pouting in favor of pretty girl. Who is blushing. "Captain Jack Harkness," he says, extending a hand to shake, still with that smirk.
"Stop that," the Doctor says, sounding annoyed, and Jack whirls around to look at him.
April's still blushing, but smiles shyly and shakes his hand. "Nice to meet you."
And then, like any girl being flirted with by Jack... kind of flees a few feet away ostensibly to examine the new decor. Okay, maybe not like any girl being flirted with by Jack, but she's a special one.
"I liked the pipes and the metal and the wood, though. This has a very... under the sea vibe going on."
Cue more of the Doctor's pouty face. April just brings it out in him. Maybe it's because he really liked April the last go-round, and he wants her to like him in this regeneration.
"It's the coral desktop theme," he mutters under his breath.
Jack snorts, amused both by the Doctor's demeanor and April's sudden retreat (which does not discourage him at all, for it is Jack). "The TARDIS had wood? Here in the console room?"
Sure, it's got every damn thing in other rooms all over the place, but... the console room, in Jack's head, will never be anything but this organic, unearthly place.

"Why am I never allowed to say hi to anyone?"
