Oh, man. This was absolutely wonderful! I cried a lot during it -- when Jensen told Jared about his mom dying (and then Jared telling HIS mom); when Jared's mom went over to Jensen's house, and then when Jensen and his dad talked. Now I'm all stuffy and headachy, but man, what a fantastic story :)

i loved that you kept them all very human, to a fault (jared - as much of an asshole he is in the beginning it's BELIEVABLE, we've all been there and hated someone for no real reason)
i felt like riley really worked as well just because it's not just sudden homophobia but a lot of issues coming together at once
i absolutely loved that bit where jared and chad are having the conversation and when jensen runs away/jared looks after him chad KNOWS - i wasn't quite sure whether to read it as chad has kind of known all along or finally understands what's happening, but i loved the moment of understanding
