Sleep hadn't come to Ceodore at all the night before. Too much had transpired between the earthquake and the aftermath of it. So as the sun began to crest the horizon, it didn't seem to him that odd that there should be pink lacing the sky. At least until it filled the sky entirely. He thought perhaps he was seeing things as a result of being so tired and he rubbed at his eyes, only to find when he opened them ( ... )

Something was amiss. Very amiss. Minwu had not noticed the pink sky, simply because he had spent the past week within the Mysidian tower. But something had filtered through; an odd sensation. Something magical in nature, but unknown.

...And suddenly, Mysidia. Their Mysidia, not his. He heard the child speak, and he watched the child chase after someone. He followed, silently- still trying to percept what exactly was amiss. Something was. He just couldn't place it.

“...Ceodore?” Porom turned, but when she faced Ceodore she seemed to look right through him. She couldn't see him or Minwu at all. The sky shifted and churned angrily, dark clouds swirling above them and crackling with fury. After a second of seeming completely lost, she scowled, placing herself between the Elder - when had he appeared? Had he been here all along? - and Ramuh.

She was so focussed on the Eidolon in front of her - an eidolon who had appeared as suddenly as the elder had - that she didn't notice the ground shining beneath her feet until she was pulled into the light suddenly and moved away as lightning fell from the sky, striking where she had been stood only a second ago.

Striking where the elder still was. Where he'd neglected to teleport himself away from.

“Elder! No!” She screamed, scrambling back to his side. White magic swirled around her as she tried to do something, anything, to undo the damage that Ramuh had done. Cure. Cura. Curaga. Curaja. Raise. Arise. Anything. The girl, the one who had done this to Ramuh ( ... )

The magic spun around her again, moving though the gaps underneath the great doors, through keyholes and the part-rotten wood of the older window frames before moving back into the room and forming the shapes of humans.

She forced herself to her feet, teleporting out past the locked door and stumbling forward to face the Eidolon, trembling with fear. She steadied herself, scrubbing at her eyes a little more roughly than was really necessary, and called out.

“Ramuh of the Feymarch!”

No answer.

“Ramuh of the Feymarch! I wish to speak with you.”

Nothing.

“Ramuh of the Feymarch! I- I know I am no summoner. But you will speak with me ( ... )

At least Porom had heard him enough to acknowledge him. Ceodore stared in outright horror as he watched her be jolted with Ramuh's Divine Judgment. "Porom!" Uncertain why the Eidolon was rampaging again, he rushed forward to try to heal her, only to find that none of his magic worked. And how he needed it now.

Helpless to do anything but watch, his mind reeled in shock and confusion. Hadn't Rydia reclaimed her Eidolons? Why then the repeat attack on Mysidia? Why would that girl not just die already?! The more he watched, the more sick and furious he became, reaching to pull his sword and go after that wretched moon maiden and end her torment of his friends and family ( ... )
